Twenty three year old Brian Randolph handed a bank teller at the Vibe Credit Union in South Lyon, a note demanding money. He claimed to be armed, but was not carrying a gun when police found him.

One year old Brailynn Randolph has eye cancer and her father, Brian Randolph, turned to desperate measures to get the money for her chemotherapy.

#2 Bank Robbery

Brian Randolph robbed the Vibe Credit Union in South Lyon, using a note and making the teller believe he was hiding a gun.

#3 Insurance Canceled

Randolph's insurance was cancelled when they claimed that he and the baby's mother failed to fill out the paperwork correctly. This meant they could not pay for the little girl's treatment.

#4 Reached Out

Randolph had reached out to family, who in hindsight, are regretful that they couldn't help.

#5 Surveillance Cameras

Randolph was picked up on surveillance cameras, handing the note to the teller and robbing the bank. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery and bank robbery, with a $500, 000 bond, even though he actually was unarmed.
